Term 3: Thursdays 6:30-9pm (8 weeks), 30 July - 17 September
Create a variety of useful and decorative items and experience the joy of hand-building with clay. Students are encouraged to develop and enhance their own style and creativity. From a technical and artistic perspective, we will develop a variety of techniques and methods of painting and decorating. Classes will include easy step-by-step instructions and demonstrations of hand-building and glazing.

Studio 2, Bankstown Arts Centre
Bankstown Arts Centre closes to the public at 4pm. To access the classroom after hours, please enter through the back gate via the Olympic Parade car park. If you arrive upon the front entrance, there is an after-hours map on the door.
Note:
- Please note that prices have been updated according to the Canterbury-Bankstown Council Fees & Charges for the 2026/27 Financial Year
- This class has a maximum capacity of 12 students and requires a minimum of six students to run.

The fee includes all materials as part of our art classes. If additional materials are required, such as providing your own images for references, the teacher will notify all students prior to those classes. If you would like to bring your own materials, you are welcome.
These are various forms of concession:
- a valid Seniors Card
- Concession Card issued by Centrelink
a Student Card issued by a tertiary education organisation
These must be presented at the time of enrolment to be valid for our concession class fee.
Bankstown Arts Centre is not affiliated with Bankstown Art Society. For information about their classes on offer and registrations, please contact Bankstown Art Society directly on 9709 6662.
If you are no longer able to attend due to change of mind, refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the term class starting. Please reach out via artscentre@cbcity.nsw.gov.au to organise your refund. Refunds are not available after the term class has begun.

Bankstown Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students’ personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Fees are non-refundable and there are no transfers or refunds if you miss a class.
