Public transport
Bankstown Arts Centre is a short 5-minute walk from Bankstown train station, which is currently served by the T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown line and a number of bus routes including the Southwest Link. Visit transportnsw.info for more information.
Parking
Parking around the Arts Centre is limited. We suggest taking public transport where possible. Limited free four-hour parking (4P) is available in the carpark along Olympic Parade. Other carparks within walking distance of Bankstown Arts Centre are Marion Street Carpark, Dale Lane Carpark, Brandon Avenue Carpark and Greenfield Parade Carpark.
Accessibility
Visitors with restricted mobility can access all public spaces at Bankstown Arts Centre. A lift is located in the foyer to take visitors to any floor in the building. A pathway is located across the courtyard for access between buildings. Entry to the Arts Centre is via the front of the building on Dale Parade. There is a minibus drop-off zone on Dale Parade located 25 metres from the entrance. Accessible parking is also available in the Olympic Parade car park.
Accessible bathrooms are located in the foyer and next to the art gallery and contain handrails and an assistance call button. These are wheelchair accessible and can be accessed either directly or via the lift in the foyer.

Conditions of Entry
Help us keep our visitors, staff and artworks safe by observing the following conditions of entry:
- Visitors must behave in a respectful manner and in a way that does not pose a risk to the safety and security of other visitors, staff, exhibitions or property.
- Smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) and alcohol are not permitted anywhere within the Bankstown Arts Centre premises.
- Pets and other animals are not permitted within the Arts Centre premises with the exception of service animals with the appropriate accreditation.
- Visitors must observe gallery rules when visiting the exhibition. This includes no touching of artworks and no food or drinks inside the gallery.
- Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times during their visit.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in staff members asking visitors to leave the site.
