Bankstown Arts Centre is dedicated to strengthening communities through events. From arts festivals, rehearsal spaces, performance seasons to intimate gatherings, there is a range of venues for hire. Perform and work on your art alongside the incredible arts organisations that call Bankstown Arts Centre home. Located a short walk away from Bankstown station, the venue is accessible to audiences in the heart of Western Sydney. Check out the spaces we have available.

Blackbox Theatre
Capacity: 130 seatedIdeal for performances, lectures and meetings 
Rehearsal Space 2
Capacity: 60Ideal for rehearsals, creative development, training for dance, theatre and music.  
Studio 1
Capacity: 15 seatedIdeal for creative arts workshops, meetings, small lectures. 
Internal Courtyard
Capacity: 100Ideal for a wide range of outdoor cultural and arts activities, performances, festivals and markets. 
​​How to hire

We are currently accepting applications for regular (ongoing) and casual hire. Preference for hirers will be given to arts-based bookings.

Most venues can be hired on a casual or regular basis (more than 12 times per year). To check availability, or ask for space dimensions, contact the Arts Centre via email at BACVenue@cbcity.nsw.gov.au or call us on (02) 9707 5400.

All bookings must be submitted at least 21 business days before the requested hire date.
