Join Made in the West Film Festival and Bankstown Arts Centre for three special pop-up screenings as part of our 2026 Marathon Summer Series. Arrive at 6pm to meet the filmmakers and then settle in for a short film marathon like no other!
Made in the West films are often surprising, sometimes challenging and always bold. These hand-picked line-ups are no exception! Now for the hard part: deciding if you'll attend ALL the screenings or choose a favourite!

Documentaries and lived experiences grounded in place, memory, and heritage – told through the lens of Western Sydney voices. This session reveals cultural knowledge, community identity, creative legacy and the people who carry stories forward.
Films include: Yandel’mawa, Ghost Town Cricket, Stone Lions, Liquid Lions, Odd One Out, and River Town People.
