Klana mask-making and Indonesian dance workshop

Make your own traditional Indonesian mask and bring your character to life through dance!

Ages: 7-12

Create your own topeng (mask) using paint, gems, craft and material, inspired by the dramatic character of Klana from Indramayu on the West Coast of Java. Led by Suara Dance's artists, you’ll shape, paint, and decorate a mask that embodies this iconic figure’s powerful presence. After crafting your mask, you will bring it to life by learning the captivating movements of the Klana dance known for its bold expression and dynamic energy.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in craft and dance. All materials will be provided. No prior knowledge or experience required.

This workshop has a maximum capacity of 12 students and requires a minimum of 6 students to run.
