About the workshop:
In this ceramics workshop, you will learn to create a plate and a cup using two different Japanese ceramic techniques: Nerikomi and Kurinuki.

Nerikomi: a decorative technique in which multiple colours of clay are combined to create detailed patterns in the clay itself (as opposed to using surface glazes for decoration)

Kurinuki: a sculpting technique that involves hollowing out a solid block of clay to create an object rather than building up from coils or slabs
